Olympic Valley

Olympic Valley sits just a few miles northwest of Tahoe City off of Highway 89. This community is home to several smaller sub-divisions but is most commonly known for Palisades Tahoe, and for being the site of the first live-televised Winter Olympics in 1960. There is access to plenty of hiking trails and bike paths in the summer. Up at the ski resort, you will find The Village at Palisades Tahoe, which offers shopping opportunities for every age and interest, fun restaurants, comfortable lodging and fire pits for those snowy winter days and chilly summer nights.
